Since the mandatory closure of bars and restaurants in-house service yesterday, many have closed up altogether, or have moved to a to-go only operation. Here’s what I’ve found:

McKenzie River Taphouse – open 4-7pm every day for growler/crowler fills, beer to go.

Oakshire’s Watershed Market (the corny fill counter at the Public House) is open Tues-Sun 3-8pm. They will sell kegs, corny fills, bottles, and cans with a 20% discount on mixed can cases. Stop in or call ahead, 541-654-5520. Online ordering coming soon.

Ninkasi’s Better Living Room is open 11am-7pm for takeout only. Click here for the updated menu & beer deal details.

ColdFire – as of yesterday, they were offering 10% off all beer to go. The ColdFire Eats food truck was operating as well, though no word today.

Falling Sky’s 3 locations are closed.

The Bier Stein is closed until further notice.

16 Tons Taphouse and Cafe locations are open for takeout only. Normal hours until they need to adjust.

Elk Horn Brewery announced they’d gotten an alcohol delivery license, and are closed today to work out the food & alcohol delivery program; should be operational tomorrow.

Hop Valley – both locations taking food & beer orders to go. Eugene: ‪(541) 485-2337‬, Springfield: (541) 744-3330

Claim 52 has altered its hours for both locations, serving to go:
Kitchen on Willamette – 11:30 am to 8:30 pm, 7 days.
Claim 52 Taproom – 3 pm – 6 pm Thursday/Friday only.

WildCraft Cider is closed, though bottle orders can be placed online using the code CIDER4U

First National Taphouse is open to-go/carryout only and food delivery through Ubereats.

Plank Town is working on a delivery service for food and beer, currently for take-out only. “This week we will be offering a 10% discount on to-go and delivery orders and 10% of gift cards for the next month! Our current hours are 11am to 9pm 7 days a week.” -facebook, 3/17.

No relevant updates from Viking Braggot Co., The Wheel Apizza, Beergarden, Tap & Growler, or Publichouse.

As we prepare to maintain “social distance” until at least the beginning of April in response to the Coronavirus, small businesses are in very real jeopardy. Most breweries are small businesses, and depend on a day-to-day average profit to stay afloat. While the cancellation of events like the Craft Brewers Conference and school closures are rational, the burdens of rent, payroll, utility bills, and lost sales may cost some breweries their existence. Of course I hope this doesn’t happen.

I’ll try to maintain an updated list of what local beer businesses – breweries, beer bars, and homebrew shops – are doing while this pandemic runs its course, whether it’s closing or staying open or cancelling events. If a brewery’s info isn’t listed, I couldn’t find anything related to Coronavirus. Info grabbed from social media and/or direct contact. Feel free to contact me if you have other info/updates.

Gratitude Brewing closed for at least two weeks.

Falling Sky will close its locations from 3/17 until it is deemed safe to open.

The Bier Stein has cancelled the 2 Towns scavenger hunt, but will still have 2 Towns cider on tap. They remain open, normal hours.

Viking Braggot Company’s weekend events are still on.

Ciderlicious has cancelled its March 14th St. Patrick’s Day event, but remains open normal hours.

16 Tons Taproom & Cafe are open as normal

Cascade Brewers Society monthly meeting (3/30) and Happy Hour (3/20) cancelled.

Rising Moon Maker’s Store open normal hours

Falling Sky is open, has removed self-serve items, kids toys, and increased sanitation policies (I assume this is for all 3 locations). “Falling Sky locations are planning to stay open as long as possible & feasible,” says owner Rob Cohen, “and as long as we are serving the public good. We know, especially in times like these, how important it is for the community to get together and drink beer. We are truly taking every precaution we can to make sure we are providing a safe environment.
