The hazy fruit machine chugs once more with the return of a crowd favorite from ColdFire Brewing. They teamed up with Pipeworks founder Beejay Oslon on the peach-laden hop bomb known as Cryo Fuzz IPA. The beer will be released on Monday Sept. 30 at 4pm at ColdFire’s taproom. There is a limited quantity of this beer, both on tap and in pint cans.

Eugene, Oregon (September 26, 2019) — We are pleased to announce the return of Cryo Fuzz, our beloved fruited IPA brewed in collaboration with Chicago’s Pipeworks Brewing Co., on Monday, September 30. We first brewed Cryo Fuzz two years ago using fresh peaches from Detering Orchards in Harrisburg, Oregon, and other local farms — and people have been asking for more ever since. Now, we’ve finally reunited with Pipeworks Founder and talented brewer Beejay Oslon to produce another batch of this popular seasonal brew.
This time around, we packed the beer with Oregon Fruit Products peaches, then specifically asked Detering Orchards for the juiciest late-harvest peaches available. We personally picked them up from the farm and drove them a few miles down the road to our brewery, where we cored and pureed them before adding them to the beer — along with massive hop charges of Galaxy hops and Mosaic Cryo hops. Cryo Fuzz is a beautiful IPA that’s packed with an enormous amount of aroma and flavor, and clocks in at 7.1% ABV.
We’ve always felt that collaborations should be undertaken in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and innovation. We are proud to partner with our friend and colleague Beejay Oslon on this special brew and excited to share it with our family and friends once again.
Cryo Fuzz IPA will be released to the public on Monday, September 30 at 4 p.m. at our taproom, located at 263 Mill Street in Eugene. Limited quantities of this special-edition beer will be available on tap and in cans.
