When another brewer tells you to drink @oakbrew beer, you do. Dinosaurs Will Die #ledumahadimafube is the brewery’s first 16oz 4-pack can release, and it’s clear that the “canthropology” of hazy IPA took center stage with its branding. The manifesto behind this evolving series, and the name of the beer, is derived from a NoFX song that doesn’t have anything to do with stegosaurus. Drinking it feels like being papercut in the mouth with citrus peel and having pineapple juice poured over it. In, you know, a good way. Watch out, beer purists. You’re not safe hiding behind your glassy-clear beer-flavored beers. The next generation is going to make you obsolete, kicking and screaming! Well y’all, it’s been a year; this is my own “top 9” shots of me, why not. I got to travel to many countries across the globe: BC, New Zealand, Germany, and Czech Republic. Add to that some great trips around Oregon, to the DC area, Denver and San Francisco. I’m grateful for the chance to travel so much, not many people get the opportunity, or take it when they do. Jumping into “self employment” was exciting and very hard, but I would not have been able to say “yes” as many times as I did. I’m thankful for my friends and family and @lizlawr for being my travel buddies, drinking and brewing buddies, and the most supportive, generous people ever (even if you’re not pictured!). I don’t do New Years predictions or anything, I just know 2019 will be different, and I’ll be glad I spent it with you.
